According to the Brand Analytics study, in addition to the blocked social networks in Russia, activity on YouTube is also declining.
The survey shows that by April 6, the platform lost was minus 13% of authors and minus 15% of content. Experts believe this could be due to the ad closure on March 4, depriving bloggers of YouTube monetization.
At the same time, an increase in the number of Russian platforms has been observed in the given period. The number of active authors on VKontakte increased by 20%, and the amount of content — by 16%. The number of active authors in the Telegram messenger increased by 23%, the content volume — by 7%.
