The number of recoveries from coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 14,324 daily to 17,390,465. The day before, 16,496 cured people had been announced there. The percentage of patients discharged, according to the headquarters, increased to 96.2% of the total number of infected.
According to headquarters, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in Russia increased by 213 a day, to 373,713. The day before, 233 deaths were registered. Conditional mortality (definitive mortality can only be determined after the epidemic has ended) remained at 2.07%, according to headquarters’ data.
Since the start of the pandemic, around 504.6 million coronavirus infections and over 6.2 million deaths have been registered in the world. In Russia, according to the Federal Infection Control Center, 18,084,151 cases of infection were registered, 373,713 people died.
