South Ossetia is holding consultations with the Russian Federation on holding a referendum on joining Russia, said the President of the Republic, Anatoly Bibilov.
Earlier, Anatoly Bibilov said South Ossetia would soon take legal steps to become part of Russia. He also noted that such an opportunity had already arisen in 2014, when Crimea reunited with the Russian Federation after the referendum.
