The Russian president signed a law on the use of official consumer price statistics in indexing court payments.
In accordance with the approved amendments published on the official portal of legal information, unless otherwise provided for by other law or federal agreement, when indexing payments, statistical information on the consumer price index and tariffs for goods and services in the Russian Federation, published in the official website, should be used Rosstat.
The Act provides for the indexation of payments from the date of issuing the court decision to the date of its execution, and acts as a mechanism for compensating the claimant’s losses due to long non-execution of the court decision.
At the same time, such valorization is not carried out in the period from the entry into force of the law on the recovery of budgetary funds and funds of autonomous institutions and until the expiry of the deadline for its implementation specified in the budget law of the Russian Federation.
