Inflation in Russia is stabilizing, but since April 8 it has been at 17.5% annually, so we need to support the Russians, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«I will deal with inflation separately, it is stabilizing now, but at the same time you and I know very well that consumer prices in Russia have risen significantly in the last month and a half — by 9.4%,» Putin said at the meeting on socio-economic issues .
He noted that the Russians felt it in their family budget and called for help of citizens to cope with the inflation surge, reports RIA Novosti.
