«The Ministry of Finance of Russia submitted to the government of the Russian Federation a draft resolution approving the general rules for concluding an agreement between the region and the Pension Fund on granting subsidies, including payments to families with children aged 8 to 16, inclusive,» the report explains.
Such payments were established from April 1, and will be paid monthly to families with children aged 8 to 16 inclusive and permanently residing in Russia, as long as the family’s average income per capita is not higher than the subsistence level.
After the conclusion of the contract, the payment will be made by the Pension Fund at the expense of the federal budget and the budgets of the entities on the basis of «social treasury», determines the Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, the total amount of additional expenses for the new payment will be 455 billion rubles, according to TASS.
