In Grozny, the last part of the regional stage of the road accident rescue competition was held among the employees of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Chechen Republic.
According to the agency, since the beginning of 2022, the on-duty units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Chechen Republic have provided assistance to over 34 victims of 22 accidents.
According to Rustam Arsanukayev, the head of the UOPT and PASR of the emergency department of the Chechen Republic, the event was aimed at developing the skills of the personnel in helping citizens in the event of road accidents and raising the level of their professional preparation.
Seven teams advanced to the finals of the competition, including the rescue and firefighting units, which achieved the best results in the qualifying round, and the Chechen search and rescue unit.
“The teams had to get two men out of a car that had an accident and put out the fire. The damaged car was a special simulator, and the «injured» were two extras, «said Rustam Arsanukaev.
He noted that the jury assessed not only the speed of completing the stages, but also the team’s compliance with the algorithm of actions provided for in the competition regulations.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team of the 27th PSCh for the protection of the Nadterechne region, the second — by the firefighters of the 18th PSCh for the protection of the Szala region. The bronze went to the employees of the 5th PSCh for protecting the Visaite district of Grozny.
“Honestly, we didn’t even expect such a result. The teams were very strong. I think that the daily training helped me, which allowed me to bring all the elements to automatism. The main goal now is to investigate the identified bugs and tune in to a successful performance in the next stage of the competition, ”said senior firefighter Islam Elmurzaev.
Winners and laureates with diplomas and a cup. The team from the Naterechny district will represent the Chechen Republic at the interregional competition in the North Caucasian Federal District.
