В ЧР исключают возможность дефицита продуктов и товаров первой необходимости

Actions are taken at federal and regional level to normalize the pricing policy.

Following the introduction of economic sanctions, food and drug prices are monitored on an ongoing basis. Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, gave such instructions to the regions.

In Chechnya, monitoring is carried out by deputies of various levels from United Russia, activists of the United Russia Young Guard, representatives of the departments of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Rosportrebnadzor of the Chechen Republic, and social organizations. The last inspections were carried out in the districts of the republic: Grozny, Argun, Gudermes, Itum-Kalinsky, Urus-Martan.

According to Adlan Dinaev, head of the regional executive committee of United Russia’s Chechen branch, the regions generally did not lack goods, including granulated sugar.

This product appears regularly and is still in great demand. According to the heads of retail chains, all goods are available in warehouses, but logistics has not yet been built, so in some stores it is not always available.

“Currently, the cost of goods in stores has increased due to the prevailing peak demand. Increase in value is not always associated with abusive salesmen. There are objective factors: an increase in production costs, a violation of supply chains, a change in the exchange rate of the ruble against foreign currencies. Within the powers granted to prevent unjustified increases in the price of goods, measures are taken by the regional government with the participation of territorial bodies of federal departments, «explained Adlan Dinaev .

He also noted that the federal center is implementing measures to prevent shortages of essential goods. Thus, the government of the Russian Federation has already allocated 2.5 billion rubles to stabilize the price of bread, and the funds have been directed to the regions. This will trigger the moratorium mechanism. Thanks to federal and regional subsidies, producers will be able to set prices at the beginning or middle of March 2022 and not allow increases until the end of the year.

State regulation of prices in the Russian Federation is carried out in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation «On the improvement of state regulation of prices (tariffs)» on goods of great social importance, under certain conditions and for a certain period.

Russia has also created a balanced system of price regulation for indispensable and necessary drugs, which makes it possible to prevent their uncontrolled changes and maintain their availability to the population. In particular, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia approves the methodology and coordinates the draft decisions of regional authorities on setting the maximum wholesale and retail mark-ups on the actual selling prices of producers. In order to prevent uncontrolled price fluctuations in pharmacies and shortages of essential drugs, the service initiated a review of these discounts by regions, most of them have already been agreed.

Recall that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation previously denied information about the possibility of a shortage of food and necessary goods. Currently, Russia is fully self-sufficient in cereals, sugar, meat and vegetable oil, 85% in eggs, potatoes, vegetables and some fruit, and 80% in dairy products, including cheese. There will be no shortage of personal hygiene items in the country. The department indicated that producers in the Russian Federation have stocks of products and necessary raw materials.
