The ceremonial opening of the expanded and modernized endoscopy department took place within the walls of the Aymed Family Clinic. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic, Elchan Suleimanov.
The opening ceremony was attended by a leading Russian specialist, doctor of medical sciences, head of the Endoscopy Department of the National Center for Medical Oncology Research. N. Blokhina Malikhova Olga Alexandrovna.
“The personal participation and assistance of Olga Aleksandrovna in the development of endoscopic services in our region are invaluable. He has been cooperating with the Chechen Republic for a long time, with the AiMed clinic, helping us to develop the types of medical care provided to the population — emphasized Elkhan Suleimanov.
The deputy prime minister noted that the medical center had a long development path in a short time. Previously, only diagnostic procedures were performed in the AyMed endoscopy department. And today a full-fledged endoscopic surgery department with its own hospital opens.
“All therapeutic endosurgical interventions are implemented here and polypoid formations, precancerous pathologies are diagnosed, which is very important for cancer prevention.
Surgery to remove precancerous duodenal formation, one of the most difficult areas of the gastrointestinal tract, will already be performed in the new ward, ”said Elkhan Suleymanov.
According to him, the technical capabilities of the clinic, high qualifications and professionalism of the medical staff allow for the most complex surgical interventions.
