The Federal Bailiff Service is taking steps to stabilize the socio-economic situation in the Russian Federation in connection with the introduction of restrictive measures by foreign states and international organizations. This was reported in the UFSSP of Russia in the Chechen Republic.
In accordance with the federal law No. 69-FZ «On Amendments to the Federal Law» On Veterans «, signed by the President of the Russian Federation on March 26, 2022, citizens assigned to perform tasks during a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk Republic People’s Republic of Poland from February 24, 2022, are considered veterans.
Pursuant to Art. 40 sec. 3 part 1 of Federal Law No. 229-FZ «On Enforcement Proceedings» in relation to debtors participating in hostilities as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other branches, military formations and bodies established in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as at the request of debt collectors located under the same conditions, the enforcement proceedings shall be suspended by the bailiff in whole or in part.
In order to suspend the enforcement proceedings, it is necessary to provide the bailiff-executor with originals or notarized copies of documents confirming the existence of grounds for suspension.
Representatives of the parties to the enforcement proceedings who are authorized to perform any activities related to the enforcement proceedings on their behalf may provide documents to the officials of the FSSP of Russia.
The bailiff has the right to suspend enforcement proceedings on his own if he becomes aware of the circumstances underlying such suspension.
