Students of all ages will find quizzes, tests, podcasts and competitions interesting. The festival aims to motivate students to study the principles of financially literate behavior, to teach them to develop the basic skills of managing personal and family budgets, and to show that a high level of financial culture is always desirable. The online marathon is also aimed at teachers and parents.
“Students today are future consumers of financial services. Therefore, now it is important to instill in them the skills of competent and responsible financial behavior. This knowledge will help children to be successful and thrive in adulthood, commented Isa Tamaev, head of the Bank of Russia branch in the Chechen Republic.
The financial marathon is organized by the Russian Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Russia as part of the All-Russian Financial Science Weeks for Children and Youth. The festival’s operators are the Research Financial Institute (NIFI) of the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the moiffinansy.rf portal.
