Россия смягчила условия по кредитам системообразующим предприятиям

As they say in the message of the government of the Russian Federation, the relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The interest rate on preferential loans granted after April 15, 2022 will amount to 11%. Previously, the level was constant at 11%. «The decision was made taking into account the reduction of the key interest rate by the Bank of Russia to 17% per annum,» reads the press release of the Council of Ministers.

A day earlier, the head of government announced an increase in the limit of preferential loans for industrial enterprises and trade organizations: one company will be able to receive up to 30 billion rubles instead of the 10 billion rubles available so far. The maximum loan amount for the group of companies remained the same — 30 billion rubles.

By the government’s decision, access to loans was granted to small and medium-sized enterprises, which are subsidiaries of backbone organizations, but do not have this status. They can get a loan of up to 10 billion rubles.

In addition, backbone vehicle sales organizations will now be able to apply for senior loans, the government notes.

Under the program approved in March by the government, backbone industrial and trade enterprises can receive preferential loans from Russian banks to replenish working capital for up to 12 months at 11% per annum (similar programs were launched for agribusiness and fuels and energy companies in the amount of 10% and 11% respectively). The government of the Russian Federation planned to allocate 40 billion rubles to finance the program, then this amount was increased to 120 billion rubles.

The need for lending to strategic enterprises has been estimated by the government at 1.5 trillion rubles for basic industries, reports Interfax.
