“We will act consistently. There we will achieve a situation in which life will gradually return to normal, it will change for the better, ”Putin said on Wednesday during a meeting of the supervisory board of Russia — ANO’s Country of Opportunities.
He noted that bombing and warfare had continued in the LPR over the past eight years.
“It is the tragedy that happened in the Donbas, including the Lugansk People’s Republic, that forced Russia to start this military operation, which everyone knows well about today. First of all, the purpose of this operation is to help people, help our people in Donbass, ”said the president.
A participant at the event, who now lives in Sevastopol, told Putin that she lived in Lugansk. The girl expressed her hope that thanks to Russia there would be peace in the Donbas.
