The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, signed a decree on the development of the e-government structure to ensure the smooth operation of public services and expand the possibility for citizens to use the public service portal, the cabinet’s press service said.
The published comment shows that the state-unified cloud platform will become part of e-government, which allows you to build the work of government agencies without new purchases of computer equipment, which are limited in the current situation. Moreover, the National Certification Center will be included in the e-administration structure. Provides for the issuance of national security certificates (TLS certificates) necessary for the normal operation of sites in the Russian segment of the Internet.
The innovation also includes extending the functionality of public services to include non-state affairs.
“It is planned that the first non-state service presented on the portal will be the possibility to conclude electronic transactions for the sale and purchase of cars. This functionality will be available to users who have placed data about their car on their personal account. The updated functionality of the portal will allow the signing of an electronic signature sale agreement ”- we read in the statement.
