The regions will be able to maintain the pace of resettlement of dilapidated housing thanks to the redistribution of funds from the Housing and Communal Reform Assistance Fund. The relevant resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.
“The adjustment will allow regions to use the federal budget funds envisaged for 2023 and 2024 to reduce the non-residential fund right now.
In addition, the regions were given the right to calculate the cost of resettlement of emergency housing on the basis of the current average market value of one square meter. So far, they have used the indicators from 2019, ”reads the report.
It also noted that today there is a housing resettlement program in Russia that was declared a state of emergency until January 1, 2017. A new program is currently being developed on behalf of the President. It consists in the resettlement of citizens whose apartments were declared a state of emergency after January 1, 2017. The federal budget for the next two years provides for 45 billion rubles for these purposes.
