This was said by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the meeting on the implementation of social support measures.
Speaking about support for such families, he recalled that a new allowance for children aged 8 to 17 had been introduced earlier. «Their [пособий] the amount will be 50, 75 or 100% of the regional subsistence minimum per child. On average from 6,000 up to 12 thousand rubles a month, depending on the specific topic of the Russian Federation and the family’s financial situation, the head of government noted.
«We will allocate almost 363 billion rubles for payments, in total 505 billion rubles for these purposes this year, so that by the end of the year the parents of over 5 million children will receive funds,» he informed.
The transfer of funds will begin in May, the application for their receipt can be submitted electronically through the portal of public services or in person at the MFC or branches of the Russian Pension Fund.
The head of the cabinet called the introduction of such benefits an important step in building an integrated support system for families with children of all ages. Mishustin noted that today people are particularly concerned about everything regarding new payments and asked the head of the Ministry of Labor, Anton Kotiakov, to explain in detail to citizens what needs to be done to benefit from the help. — Please, involve the regions as well, build a clear feedback mechanism so that citizens can receive answers quickly — the prime minister ordered.
At the same time, he instructed the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, to control that a simple and understandable application procedure was presented on the public services portal. «We have to be prepared for a large number of requests,» said Mishustin, reports TASS.
