Among the people who visited Belarus to learn about the industrial potential of the republic and hold business meetings are the vice-chairman of the government of the Chechen Republic, Khasan Khakimov, and the Minister of Industry and Energy of the Chechen Republic, Adam Chakimov.
According to the head of the government of the Chechen Republic, Muslim Khuczyev, the Chechen delegation visited the machinery companies of the Republic of Belarus and met with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Petr Parkhomchik.
“The representatives of the Chechen Republic visited the engineering enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. Among them are the Minsk Automobile and Tractor Factories (MAZ and MTZ), the AMKADOR factory. After getting acquainted with the production, at a meeting with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Petr Parkhomchik, they talked about strengthening cooperation. As a result of the negotiations, the Chechen side invited a delegation led by P. Parkhomchik to the Chechen Republic to consider the possibility of establishing a joint venture for the assembly of MAZ vehicles, the Prime Minister noted.
Chuczew also added that a meeting between Chechen emissaries and the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Belarus, Alexei Avramenko, took place. The issues of commercial communication, logistics and the implementation of joint projects were discussed. In particular, they talked about the opening of direct flights between Minsk and Grozny and the organization of transit flights.
Muslim Czuczjew noted that the visit of the delegation of the Chechen Republic to the Republic of Belarus is fruitful, based on mutually beneficial relations.
