«A total of 5,643 cultural organizations from across the country participate in the program as legal entities, 1,365 museums are associated with the program, 85 of which are federal,» Minaev said at a press conference promoting the best practices of regional and city museums.
Minaev also noted that today museums are already catching up with the popularity of theaters and are in the third place in terms of ticket sales.
«The Tretyakov Gallery is at the forefront of the three organizations participating in the program, the Hermitage in the top five, and the Kadyrov memorial complex in Grozny in the top ten,» he said.
According to Minaev, cultural workers across the country respond very warmly to the program.
