The three-day command post exercise showed the coherence of work and the effectiveness of cooperation between the units of the territorial subsystem of the RSChS of the Chechen Republic. This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Chechen Republic, Alikhan Tsakaev.
From 12 to 14 April in Chechnya, the forces of ministries and ministries participating in the exercise worked out in practice issues related to ensuring the safety of avoiding spring floods and protecting housing estates, farm buildings and social infrastructure against fires.
During the exercises, a number of issues were developed, including conducting preventive actions, informing and alerting the population, evacuating citizens from the danger zone, providing medical care in the field, protecting public order, creating groups, organizing and conducting rescue operations, rescue operations and others.
— During the development of practical activities, orthophotos were used, as well as environmental models obtained with the space monitoring system. The special application «Thermal points» developed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia was also actively used, ”emphasized Alikhan Tsakaev.
He concluded that the command post exercises helped to improve the methods and techniques of protecting the population and territories of the Chechen Republic against natural disasters.
More than 500 people and 100 equipment units of interested ministries and ministries were involved in practical activities.
