United Russia and Russia Post have set up regional headquarters that will control the modernization of post offices across the country. A federal headquarters has been established at the Ministry of Digital Development.

It serves approximately 30 million people in rural areas and provides a basic set of social and government services — here you can apply for certificates, documents, receive money orders and pay for communications. Previously, no repairs or upgrades were financed. United Russia asked the president to support the network of post offices, and at the last party congress he supported this proposal, said Alexander Chinsztejn.
“In addition to traditional postal services, branches will be able to sell medicines either at the branch’s pharmacy or by ordering them online. In addition, many updated post offices will be able to receive state and city services and news of legal significance, said Adlan Dinaev, head of the Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Chechen regional branch.
Let us recall that the development of the Russian Post and its regional rural branches is included in the national program of United Russia. On September 13, President Vladimir Putin, after the results of the second stage of the Party Congress, ordered the government to provide funds for recapitalization of the Russian Post SA. On December 1, the head of state ordered the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation to systematically modernize 25,160 post offices in the countryside, as well as in remote and hard-to-reach areas in 2022-2025. They will not only be repaired, but also replaced in cases where repair becomes impossible. For this purpose, prefabricated structures will be used.
