On the eve of the Day of Unity of the Nations of Russia and Belarus, the document was signed by the secretary of the general council of the party, Andrei Turchak, and the chairman of the republican association «Biala Rus», Gennady Dawydko.
Our interaction is an excellent example of the principles on which relations between neighboring countries should be built, stressed Andrei Turczak, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia during the signing of the document.
“We help each other in gradual development and maintaining socio-economic stability. The difficult times of common history have united the Russian and Belarusian nations and hardened our unity. We faced colossal political pressure and sanctions from the collective West. In the present conditions, we must unite even more and devote additional efforts to strengthening the sovereignty and ensuring the economic security of our countries. I am convinced that the signing of the cooperation agreement will open a new page in the history of our relations and will be the basis for coordinated work in the interests of our peoples, he said.
Andrei Turczak also drew attention to the importance of United Russia and Belay Rus’ participation in the implementation of 28 EU integration programs.
In turn, the chairman of the Belarusian Republican Union «Biała Rus», Gennady Dawydko, drew attention to the importance of economic integration of both countries.
“It is very important that our leaders have full determination and the political will to do so. Common projects are developed in all spheres of activity. It is very good that presidents, governments and industrial organizations are working together, but it is also very important that people be friends, «he said.
Let us recall that on June 24, 2019, a protocol was signed on United Russia’s consultations with the non-governmental organization Belaya Rus. Now the cooperation is secured by signing the contract.
