At the same time, Russia does not intend to supply food to hostile countries and buy food from them, said the deputy chairman of the Federation Council.
“We will not deliver our products and agricultural products to our enemies. And we will not buy anything from them (although we have not bought anything since 2014, but the list of products banned for import can still be expanded). Our domestic market is a priority in food supplies. And price control. At the same time, the state will continue to provide extensive and systematic aid to farmers.
Moreover, Dmitry Medvedev recalled that Russia is, next to India and China, the largest producer of grains and the largest exporter of wheat in recent years.
