All medications used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergies are available in sufficient quantities from pharmacies and wholesalers. This will be announced by the Ministry of Health of Russia.
According to Roszdravnadzor, in 2021, 98 trade names for antihistamines containing 16 INNs were introduced into the civil circulation, and from the beginning of 2022, 83 trade names for antihistamines containing 15 INNs.
The number of series of systemic antihistamines introduced into the civil circulation in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 416 — over 23.1 million packages, in the same period in 2022, 469 series were put into circulation — over 25 million packages.
In addition, the Ministry of Health announced that all medications used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergies, including anti-leukotriene, as well as topical corticosteroids in the form of sprays and drops, are available in sufficient quantities at pharmacies and wholesalers.
