From the end of February until today, 55 beds have been deployed in three centers in the Czech Republic. 37 patients are treated in Czech raven centers, including 0 in the intensive care unit and 69 in outpatient treatment.
The number of new cases in the country remains low. 15 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the last day.
At the same time, the risk of an increase in morbidity remains and it is therefore necessary to increase the level of herd immunity. It will protect against new COVID-19 strains, including the «stealth omicron».
The region is ready for an increase in incidence: 2,085 beds with 100% oxygen supply can be deployed in carrier centers.
A sufficient supply of drugs has also been created to treat COVID-19 patients.
Inhabitants of the republic who fell ill more than 6 months ago are advised to get vaccinated. Revaccination is recommended for previously vaccinated people.
