April 13, 2022. Members of the parliament of the Chechen Republic, Khalid Nakayev and Imam-Ali Makhmutkhazhiyev, together with the head of the Sernovodsk City District, Ali Nagaev, met with students of the Lyceum No. Sernowodskoye.
The meeting coincided with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chechen Republic. In their speeches, the deputies noted that on November 13, 1922, the Chechen Autonomous Region was created by a decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR.
According to them, it obviously played a positive role in the further development of the national statehood, the political history of the Chechen people, and in becoming an independent economic and cultural unit within the Russian state.
The parliamentarians also noted the contribution of the First President of the Hero Republic of Russia, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, to the reconstruction of Chechen statehood, the process of which ended after he came to power. Thanks to the political will of Akhmat-Khadja Kadyrov, the Chechens managed to restore historical justice. Until now, the Chechen Republic has become one of the most dynamically developing regions of the country, and the legendary city of Grozny has been honored with the honorary title of the «City of Military Glory». Every year, new cultural facilities are opened in the region, and the most ambitious projects are carried out at the international and interregional level.
At the end of the meeting, the deputies answered all the questions of interest to the students and wished them success in their studies.
