Dear people of the Chechen Republic!
Today in our republic one of the most important holidays is celebrated, the Day of Peace. On behalf of the deputies of the parliament of the Chechen Republic and on my own, I congratulate the Head of the Chechen Republic, the Hero of Russia, Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov and all the inhabitants of the republic on this important day!
On April 16, 2009, the highest political leadership of the country made the fatal decision to abolish the regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) on the territory of our republic. It was a confirmation of the rightness of the course chosen by our First President, Hero of Russia, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, aimed at achieving peace and prosperity in the republic. We all remember the words of the great Akhmat-Haji: «I do not want to end the war, but end it once and for all.»
Thousands of the most worthy sons of the Chechen people gave their lives for the peace and prosperity of their homeland. The abolition of the CTO regime made it possible to end hostilities on the territory of the republic. From that moment on, people could live, develop and build their future freely.
Under the wise leadership of Ramzan Kadyrov, colossal successes were achieved in all spheres of life. Cities were rebuilt, educational, health, cultural and religious buildings were renovated. The social and economic life in the region was established in the shortest possible time. The republic has become the richest and safest region of Russia. I sincerely wish you all prosperity, prosperity and health!
