Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke about the need to restore medical facilities for scheduled visits, addressing the State Duma with a report on the government’s activities for 2021.
In his speech, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the regions to restore the provision of planned medical care.
“It needs to be fully restored, of course throughout the country. I am asking the heads of Russian entities to ensure this in the near future. So that people can freely receive consultations from specialized specialists as well as perform pending operations, he said.
The medical institutions of the Chechen Republic were among the first to return to the previous mode of operation, fully providing the necessary assistance to patients. According to doctors, slightly more people want to receive planned hospital care after the lifting of pregnancy restrictions.
The healthcare sector in the region is developing in stages. Despite the difficult years of the pandemic, in 2021 in the Chechen Republic, 15 primary healthcare facilities were built and rebuilt, and major repairs were carried out at 4 FAP and VA. 39 mobile medical complexes and 48 vehicles for medical facilities were purchased.
As the Prime Minister of the Russian government noted in his speech, the development of this sphere was a priority for the country. So, according to him, in 2021, more than a thousand polyclinics were repaired in the regions. Over 37,000 medical equipment and 5,500 special vehicles were purchased. He said that doctors and paramedics can now come to patients even in remote villages.
