In 2021, specialists of Chechenenergo SA (managed by Rosseti Severny Kavkaz) signed 4,180 agreements with the inhabitants of the republic on the restructuring of electricity debt in the amount of 53.1 million rubles.
Residents of the Achkhoy-Martan district actively used the option of paying in installments — 959 subscribers of the private sector concluded contracts with energy industry for 3.2 million rubles, Shelikiv Oblast — 776 consumers for 5.7 million rubles and 380 people from the city of Gudermes — for 10.4 million rubles.
“It is important for residents to remember that deviation from the conditions leads not only to the termination of the contract, but also to compulsory judicial recovery. In addition, a fine is charged for late payment from the beginning of this year. This measure is an incentive for consumers to pay their debts, as neglecting payment obligations directly affects the stable operation of the region’s energy system. Taking everything into account, the restructuring is a good opportunity to pay off in a predetermined manner, said Said-Ali Kaisarov, deputy managing director, director of the Energosbyt JSC Chechenenergo branch.
Guided by the social policy of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, the Operational Staff for the Development of Electricity under the leadership of his adviser, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, conducts comprehensive work with debtors for electricity on an ongoing basis. This includes outreach that is realized through interaction with local authorities and the media.
It is worth noting that a special attitude is attached to the socially unsecured category of the population: the conditions for the gradual repayment of debts and subsidies for the repayment of housing and communal services are constantly being clarified.
