Over 11,000 Chechen students took part in the All-Russian Internet Olympiad on Financial Skills and Entrepreneurship, which was held on the Uchi.ru platform. Overall, the project attracted over 1.6 million students from all over the country.
Most of the Olympics participants easily coped with the tasks of setting financial goals and identifying the tricks of fraudsters. At the same time, questions about conscious consumption without harming the environment have caused difficulties. In the case of incorrect execution of tasks, students had the opportunity to see the correct solution.
“Regional schools attach great importance to the financial education of children. This is evidenced by the almost threefold increase in the number of students who decided to test their financial knowledge at this year’s Olympics. And not only city school students. The most active participants were students from the Szełkowski and Gudermes oblasts, as well as from Grozny, said Isa Tamaev, head of the Bank of Russia branch in Chechnya.
Let us recall that the project was implemented with the help of the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Research and Financial Institute and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the implementation of the Financial Competence Strategy and in accordance with the objectives of the nationwide project «Small and medium-sized enterprises and support for individual entrepreneurship initiatives».
