In the period from 2020 to 2021, Chechenenergo JSC (under the leadership of Rosseti North Caucasus) identified 781 power plants in the Chechen Republic that show signs of inertia.
These include 372 transformer stations and 409 10/6 / 0.4 kV transmission lines with a total length of approx. 900 km. These objects were discovered during research and inventory of the network economy of the Chechen Republic.
Specialists of JSC «Chechenenergo» took steps to recognize the identified property of the electric network as inertia and prepared applications to judicial authorities for registration of the objects in the ownership of the enterprise for their further operation.
Currently, in accordance with accepted court decisions, the ownership of Chechenenergo SA for 743 objects has been recognized. With regard to 38 sites, the applications of Chechenenergo SA are being examined by judicial authorities.
Selfless energy facilities pose many problems for both the grid company and the consumers. Power engineers are not allowed to operate them, and quickly carry out emergency repair work. This can negatively affect the reliability and quality of power in the region.
