Russia’s largest airline, Aeroflot, is campaigning to cut flight prices from late April to late May to all Russian destinations by 30-35%, RIA Novosti reported.
Aeroflot is launching a large-scale promotion of discounts on airline tickets to all domestic destinations. From April 4 to April 12, 2022, passengers will be able to buy tickets at significantly reduced costs for the period from April 28 to May 31, 2022. The average discount will be 30-35%.
As stated, the terms of the promotion apply to Aeroflot’s own flights as well as to Rossiya and Aurora flights operated under the commercial management of Aeroflot (SU code in flight numbering). The promotion includes the most popular fares in economy class with luggage («optimal») and without luggage («light»).
The offer will be valid on direct flights between Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Russian cities. Tariffs are also combined to build transit traffic between the cities of the Russian Federation via Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk. Should the restrictions on flights to the southern cities of Russia be lifted during the campaign, Aeroflot will be ready to immediately offer special conditions for organizing transport on these routes.
«We understand how important it is to support our passengers in the availability of flights and the possibility of planning trips and vacations in advance. That is why we decided to significantly reduce the prices of air tickets to all domestic destinations during the period most actively planning by the Russians the May holidays and the opening of the summer season» — he noted temporarily acting general director of Aeroflot Sergey Aleksandrovsky.
