In the Czech Republic in 2022, mortality due to cardiovascular diseases decreased by 9% compared to 2021. This was announced at a meeting of the working group on reducing mortality due to cardiovascular diseases in Chechnya.
The main point of the program is the analysis of the results of the work of regional vascular centers for the period November-December 2022.
During the meeting, the actions taken to reduce mortality due to cardiovascular diseases, the supply of drugs to patients with CSD, etc. were also discussed.

In 2022, medical institutions of the Czech Republic filled approximately 40,000 prescriptions to fight cardiovascular diseases.
Significant improvements have been achieved in the provision of specialist care to patients with CVD.
An increase from 12.1% to 34.4% of the share of thrombolysis in patients with ischemic stroke hospitalized within the first 4.5 hours.
