The task of the parliamentary commission to investigate the activities of American biological laboratories in Ukraine is to establish the truth, and in no case to correct the answer, said the deputy chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
“Our task is not to match these facts and arguments with the answer indicated at the end of the manual. By no means, ”the politician said during the meeting of the scientific advisory council to the committee.
«We understand that our conclusions will be examined under the microscope, and where there is a fault or disproval, our opponents will try to do so with apparent pleasure,» Kosaczow said.
He stressed that no one would give them such pleasure, «our task is to find out the truth.»
A network of more than 30 biological laboratories was established in Ukraine in the interests of the Pentagon, said Igor Kirillov, head of the radiological, chemical and biological protection units of the Russian Armed Forces. He said that everything needed to continue the US military-biological program has already been removed from Ukraine following the start of the Russian Special Military Operation.
Russia, in view of the facts about the US military biological activity in Ukraine, does not exclude the launch of the consultation mechanism under the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxic Weapons, said the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, reports RIA Novosti.
