Mikhail Murashko opened the first GMP laboratory of cell technologies in our country on the basis of a branch of the National Research Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
The ceremonial opening of the innovative research and production complex of GMP class cellular technologies took place on the basis of a branch of the National Research Center for Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia — in the Medical Center for Radiological Research named after A. Cyba.
It is worth noting that during the opening of the research and production complex, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation drew attention to the importance of increasing the scale of production of radiopharmaceuticals in Russia.
Thanks to the creation of radiopharmaceutical laboratories and pharmacies, it will be possible to obtain unique drugs, produce them in small batches, and then obtain the possibility of industrial production.
Mikhail Murashko stressed that the construction of a plant for the production of radiopharmaceuticals has now begun,
construction of a preclinical research complex.
“Today, morphological, genetic, biochemical and radiodiagnostic methods are used in the diagnosis of oncological diseases. The treatment uses surgical methods of treatment, radiotherapy, radiopharmaceuticals, chemotherapy, as well as unique cell technologies, which actually close the full cycle of state-of-the-art technologies,” summed up the minister.
