Vaccines against COVID-19 are purchased on an as-needed basis, the current balances fully meet the needs of the regions, said Alexei Kuznetsov, Russia’s deputy health minister.
Earlier, the RBC publication reported that the company Nanolek, which produces the CoviVac vaccine developed at the Center. Chumakov, currently has stopped production due to no applications for its purchase from the Ministry of Health.
«Today, drugs for vaccination against COVID-19 are purchased depending on the needs, taking into account the indications for use and contraindications. The current balance of drugs fully meets the existing needs of the regions» — said Kuznetsov, reports RIA Novosti.
