Almost 80 kilometers of water supply networks will be upgraded in the Gudermes region thanks to the national project «Housing and urban environment». This was reported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Chechen Republic.
In the Gudermes municipal district of the Chechen Republic, the construction and reconstruction of water supply networks with a total length of 79.9 km has begun.
The construction work will cover part of the town of Gudermes and the village of Oiskhara. In accordance with the tasks set by the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, activities are planned in the facilities for the creation and reconstruction of infrastructure, as well as the installation of drinking water purification equipment.
“In the region’s Gudermes district, work has begun to modernize the water supply facilities. Among the activities planned for this year are the provision of engineering infrastructure for built-up areas, the construction and reconstruction of water supply networks to improve the quality of drinking water as part of the federal Clean Water project, said Lom-Ali Beriev, Director of the Department of Housing and Utilities of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Services of the Chechen Republic. .
In addition, thanks to the national project «Housing and urban environment», it is planned to install drinking water purification systems at water intakes in Gudermes and in the village of Verkhniy Gerzel.
