The event was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic and the Central State Medical Academy of the Administration of the President of Russia.
The conference was widely disseminated thanks to its hybrid format and webcasting. About 600 specialists in the field of endocrinology from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz, Magas and other cities of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts participated in the scientific event.
When opening the conference, Alam Gadev, Deputy Minister of Health of the Chechen Republic, took the floor. He conveyed words of gratitude for organizing the conference to all participants from the Minister of Health of the Chechen Republic, Idris Baisultanov.
The presentations focused on the effects of drugs on metabolic disorders in patients with diabetes, new metabolic therapy options, diabetes treatment technologies, and more. After the plenary part, the reports were discussed and the results of the conference were summarized.
Worldwide, 537 million adults live with diabetes, which is the diagnosis of one in ten. Only about 18,000 people are registered in the Republican Endocrinology Clinic in the Chechen Republic.
