By the end of 2023, 48.3 km will be built in Grozny. water supply networks under the «Stimulus» sub-programme of the national project «Apartment and Urban Environment». This was reported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Chechen Republic.
Public utilities will appear on the outskirts of Grozny, followed by the commissioning of new housing. The program also includes the construction of a pumping station, which will provide residents with uninterrupted access to drinking water. On behalf of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, similar actions are also being carried out in the Shali, Gudermes and Nadterechny regions of the region.
“This year, as part of the federal project «Stimulus» in Grozny, work began on the construction of engineering communications that will solve the problem of water supply. The set of measures also provides for the creation of a pumping station,” said Islam Tuntaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Services of the Chechen Republic.
In total, on the territory of the region, in accordance with the state program implemented by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Chechen Republic, 32 public utilities are being built this year, including the creation of water treatment plants, treatment plants, construction and reconstruction of water supply and sewage networks.
