Ramzan Kadyrov announced it on his Telegram channel.
The head of the Chechen Republic said that at his invitation, religious figures of the republic made an iftar and read the Movlid. The event was also attended by the chairman of the Alimov Council of the North Caucasian Federal District, Khoz-Akhmed Kadyrov.
The audience read nazm (religious songs), performed the «movlid» ritual praising Allah’s Messenger ﷺ.
«In our duets, we asked the Lord of the worlds for mercy, a quick victory over the Ukrainian Nazis, the triumph of justice, to ensure a safe return home to our BROTHERS participating in a special operation against the enemies of humanity and send His grace to the defenders of the Motherland» — wrote the mayor of the region.
At the end of the main celebrations, an iftar was organized for the guests to complete their mandatory fasting.
