On February 22, 2023, the State Budgetary Institution «Sharoi District Sports School» organized and conducted an open table tennis tournament among youth on the occasion of «Defender of the Fatherland Day». The competition was held as part of the federal project «Sport is the norm of life» and the nationwide project «Demography», the aim of which is to encourage people to regular physical culture and sport and to popularize table tennis in the region.
