The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has announced the commencement of demining of the coast near the port of Mariupol.
«Russian sapper units have started cleaning mines from explosives on the coast of the Azov Sea adjacent to the port of Mariupol,» the ministry said.
According to him, the works are carried out by specialists from the International Center of Mining Activities. The Uranium-6 robot complex is used for demining.
«So far, sappers have already explored more than 50 kilometers of the coast of the Sea of Azov, where over 300 different types of ammunition have been neutralized,» the report reads.
