Rospotrebnadzor is ready to assist the DPRK in the fight against the coronavirus if such an appeal is received, while there are no official conclusions, RIA Novosti was informed in the department’s press service.
«So far, no official requests have been received from the DPRK, but Rospotrebnadzor is ready to assist the Korean side in the event of such a request,» the report reads.
Rospotrebnadzor already has experience in dealing with the DPRK — in 2020, DPRK became one of the first countries to which Russian test systems were sent in February, the press service noted.
Earlier, DPRK state media reported that there was a «gap» in the country’s anti-epidemic protection, for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in North Korea, people infected with the coronavirus were found, they had the «omicron» strain.
