Even more medical workers will be able to receive one-off remuneration for work in rural areas, urban-type estates and small towns. The necessary changes were introduced to the state program «Health Development», approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Payments are made under the Zemsky Doctor and Zemsky Paramedic programs. Now moving to the countryside is not a condition for receiving support. Medical students, as well as graduates of medical universities who completed their studies (including under a target internship agreement) and returned to work in their localities, will be able to count on state support.
Doctors will be able to receive 1 million rubles, paramedics, midwives and nurses — 500,000 each. rubles. If the settlements are located in remote and hard-to-reach areas, the compensation will increase to 1.5 million rubles and 750 thousand rubles, respectively. For the Far East, the Far North and the regions of the Arctic zone, payments are 2 million rubles and 1 million rubles, respectively.
As before, in order to receive compensation, health workers must enter into a contract with a medical facility, committing themselves to work there for at least five years.
