«There is no need to write an application for indexing payments to citizens, because all this will be done proactively. Today, the Pension Fund has digital capabilities not to collect any additional applications. Everything will be done automatically,» said Bessarab. .
According to her, the size of the increase has not been specified and is still being discussed in the relevant committees of the State Duma and in the government.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the parliament to develop mechanisms for indexing pensions and all social benefits. The head of state called on the government to prepare a proposal in this matter.
