Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Chechen Republic told vacationers on the territory of the Kezenoy-Am sports and tourist complex about safety rules on water reservoirs in winter.
During the event, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations measured the thickness of the ice and checked the presence of full houses preventing people and vehicles from entering the ice.
“The thickness of the ice in the immediate vicinity of the Kezenoy-Am coast is 30 centimeters. The reservoir froze unevenly, and access to it can be dangerous, ”said Aslan Alkhaev, head of the department for people’s safety at water facilities of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Chechen Republic.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations drew the attention of the representatives of the administration of the tourist complex to the need to take preventive measures to prevent accidents.
Alpine lake Kezenoy-Am is located in the Vedensky district of the Chechen Republic. Its depth is more than 70 meters.
