Russian business should take over and develop «tasty» Western companies abandoned by their owners in Russia after the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, said the chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvyenko.
«Now we have a large number of» tasty «businesses abandoned by foreign companies. We must take it all and develop it taking into account our national specificity and experience» — she said at a meeting with exporters.
According to the speaker, with the departure of many Western companies, very attractive niches for domestic business have become available on the Russian market, which should be developed using their potential.
«Yes, a collective US-led West (sanctions imposed), but the world is not limited to these countries, we have new opportunities,» Matwijenko is convinced, reports RIA Nowosti.
