In the first quarter of 2022, the inhabitants of the Chechen Republic submitted 61 complaints to the Bank of Russia, which is 22% less than in the corresponding period of 2021. Basically, consumers of financial services complained about representatives of the insurance market and banks.
«The largest number of complaints from the region’s inhabitants concerns the compulsory motor third party liability insurance — in the first quarter there were 29 such complaints, which is almost a half less than in the corresponding period of last year. Most often, car owners indicated incorrect application of the bonus-malus ratio by insurers, violation of the terms of payment of insurance compensation, early termination of the contract, ”said Isa Tamaev, head of the Bank of Russia branch in Chechnya Republic.
The inhabitants of the region filed 12 complaints with regard to banks. They mainly concerned disagreement with the terms of the concluded contract, write-offs of irrecoverable money, as well as problems with debt repayment.
Residents of the Chechen Republic can file a complaint against participants in the financial market in internet reception on the official website of the Bank of Russia.
