And we will prepare changes to the federal legislation that will translate the successful practices into all regions of our country. Moreover, quite recently, on the initiative of United Russia, a law was passed which grants military personnel participating in a special military operation the status of a participant in hostilities. This provides a set of benefits and payments, ”said Andriy Turchak.
This is a fee for the purchase or construction of housing for children of military personnel and volunteers who died or became disabled from group 1 while performing tasks during a special military operation. It will be given to children who reach the age of 18, in accordance with the standards for providing housing for orphans. The specified remuneration will also be given to children attending a full-time school who, on the day of the parent’s death or confirmation of disability, are under 23 years of age.
It also provides for lump sum payments to disabled soldiers and volunteers, as well as military widows and parents and volunteers who died while carrying out tasks during a special military operation. Lump sum and monthly fees will be provided to children of military personnel and volunteers who have become disabled from groups 1 and 2, as well as children of military personnel and volunteers.
