In 2022, over 8.8 billion rubles will be allocated to equipping regional medical organizations with modern rehabilitation equipment. The order on the division of these funds among the regions was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
This year, medical organizations in the regions will receive more than 262 million rubles for these purposes.
“Over the next three years, it is planned to equip or retrofit more than 1,350 medical rehabilitation departments and approximately 130 day hospitals. The work is carried out under the new federal project «Optimal Medical Rehabilitation to Restore Health». The project is included in the list of initiatives for Russia’s socio-economic development until 2030, which was approved by the government last fall. The main goal of such initiatives is to improve people’s quality of life and to make the Russian economy more modern and flexible, ”informs the website of the Russian government.
The president spoke about the need to improve the medical rehabilitation system in Russia, speaking at the United Russia party congress in June 2021. As a result of the incident, the head of state ordered the government to develop a program for the development of medical rehabilitation until 2026 and allocate 100 billion rubles for this purpose, informs the Chief’s Press Service and the Government of the Chechen Republic.
