According to the press service of the Ministry of Labor, job seeking is second in terms of inquiries among the areas of the social contract. From the beginning of the year, 24.3 thousand people applied for this type of aid. Russians (33% of the total number of social contracts). Another 16.8 thousand. social contracts (22.8%) were concluded in order to overcome a difficult life situation. As part of this faculty, the citizen receives a monthly cash payment in the amount of the regional subsistence minimum. The money can be spent on food, clothes, shoes and medicine.

The press service of the ministry added that the mechanism of social contracts in the first quarter of 2022 was most actively implemented in the territory of Krasnodar: 3.7 thousand contracts were signed. social contracts covering 7.5 thousand citizens. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is in second place — 2.8 thousand. social contracts covering 8.2 thousand citizens. On the third line is the Novosibirsk region — 3.4 thousand. social contracts covering 10.3 thousand citizens.
In total, more than 460,000 social contracts have been issued in Russia since 2020. For Russians who lost their jobs after 1 March 2022, access to this support measure was extended: the calculation of the measures does not take into account the previous income from work of such citizens.
